Sachin Tendulkar retired from international cricket almost nine years ago, but his hunger to score more and more runs has not diminished by a bit.

The 49-year-old is currently participating in the World Series of Road Safety in Dehradun and has not been flattered for cheating in any way. On Thursday, September 22, Master Blaster got his team, India Legends, off to a great start against England Legends.

After India Legends batted first at the Rajiv Gandhi International Cricket Stadium, Tendulkar started throwing out the kitchen sink from the get-go.

He started his strike with a graceful four from Stephen Parry through the square-legged region to the back. In the third, Tendulkar went completely berserk and crushed the fast pitcher. Chris Tremlett for two sixes, followed by a four.

She also attacked pacemaker Rikki Clarke in the fourth over. Just when it looked good to reach his half-century, Chris Schofield realized the wicket from him. Tendulkar gave a simple catch and throw to the leg spinner.

Tendulkar perished with India scoring at 67 for the loss of two wickets in 6.2 overs. Sachin came out after scoring 40 runs on 20 balls with the help of three fours and as many sixes.

Meanwhile, fans were in awe of the way Sachin played. One of the fans even said that India should pick Sachin as a backup starter for the upcoming edition of the T20 World Cup. Tendulkar actually gave a glimpse of his great self during the match in Dehradun.
