The Congress intends to cover more than 3,500 km in 150 days with the Bharat Jodo Yatra

The massive congressional outreach program, the Bharat Jodo Yatra, now has the attention of Hollywood. Actor John Cusack, the star of such blockbusters as “Serendipity,” “High Fidelity,” “Con Air” and “2012,” wrote: “Indian MP Rahul Gandhi is walking to Kashmir from Kerala.”

According to a report by the PTI news agency, the 56-year-old also responded to a user thanking the actor for his support, saying: “Yes, solidarity, to all anti-fascists everywhere!”

Cusack had previously extended his support to farmers’ protests against the three farm bills and to students protesting the Citizenship (Amendment) Act.

The Bharat Jodo Yatra, led by Rahul Gandhi and attended by a number of political stalwarts, aims to cover more than 3,500km in 150 days. The mass march that started in Kanyakumari in Tamil Nadu on September 7 will end in Jammu and Kashmir.
